The Mil-Aero Command Post

Where great military and aerospace minds meet.

hi all, i'm new to this mil-aero industy and would be grateful to meet some new friends that can educate me in this market segment.

a couple of the company that i work with are mil-aero related and occassionally they request various different type of NSA specs for the solid state storages that we manufacture.

my question is, are there a list of generally requested type of specs; like NSA130-2 or 9-12 or even like Mil810-F.

if someone could educate me, that would be greatly appreciated. i would always read different types of mil spec mentioned on the military & aerospace magazines, but there seems to be so many of them. i hope you can shed some light for me.

many thanks in advance~

Try ASSIST-Online http://assist.daps.dla.mil/online/start/ for MIL-STD-810F (G is current version).

ASSIST-Online provides public access to standardization documents over the Internet and is the official source of DoD specifications and standards. ASSIST-Online provides direct, online access to over 104,000 digital document images in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). All ASSIST documents are generally available to users free of charge.

I think NSA/CSS Manual 130-2, Media Declassification and Destruction Manual was superceded by NSA/CSS STORAGE DEVICE DECLASSIFICATION MANUAL available at:
