U.S. Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) in Norfolk, Va., has posted a notice (through Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office) notifying industry of a pre-proposal conference with an overview of a contract recompete supporting the command's Joint Systems Integration Command (JSIC) in Suffolk.

The notice, posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Web site, announces the conference on Jan. 28, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Portsmouth Renaissance Hotel and Conference Center. Prospective vendors also may attend a solicitation document review at the JSIC on Jan. 22, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Jan. 23, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

According to the solicitation notice, the new contract is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract and allows for placement of cost plus fixed fee and fixed price task orders.

The performance period is a base two-year performance period and two two-year option periods.

The Jan. 28 pre-proposal conference provides industry with an opportunity to understand proposed requirements and to learn about how the command envisions the upcoming solicitation.
